Twin Lake & Interlaken Tours
We feature narrated pontoon boat cruise on Twin Lakes with a stop at the late 19th century abandoned lakeside resort of Interlaken across the lake! Tours are approximately 1 hour 45 minutes in length and we can do tours at special times upon request with advance notice. Scheduled tours require a 3 person minimum and we offer special rates for groups of 10 or more. The boat carries up to 11 passengers.
- Parking: You can park at the Red Rooster Site. Parking is $10 per day per vehicle and provided by the National Forest Service. Parking is cash only using an envelope system.
- Arrival: We recommend you arrive 25-30 minutes before the departure time to give you enough time to park, visit the restroom, and walk down to the beach.
- Meeting Spot: We depart from the beach at the Red Rooster Fishing Site, which is well marked.
- Boarding Time: Boarding time is 10 minutes before the departure.
- Weather: Afternoon thunderstorms are frequent in July and August and we recommend bringing rain gear just in case. We do not run the tour in inclement weather and tours may be canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions.
- Gratuity: Gratuity is highly appreciated! The price of the boat tour does not include gratuity. Our guides do everything to make your experience as safe and pleasant as possible.
- Accessibility: Due to the geography of the lake, there is no handicap access. You must be able to walk over fairly level natural ground about the distance you would walk in a grocery store.
- Maximum Capacity: Our boat is a 24 foot Encore Bentley pontoon boat with comfortable seating for up to 11 passengers.
- Restrooms: There is no toilet on the boat, but there is a restroom at the ticket location.
- Dogs: Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs on board.
- Provided: We provide water, sun block, and hand sanitizer.
Tour Times & Prices
Tour season is from June 1st through September 30th. From June 18th to Labor Day tours start at 10:00AM. In early June and after Labor day, tours start at 10:30AM. Use the this link to view our current booking calendar and buy tickets.
